Use of Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing Notice

Updated: 19 October 2026

The CXR AI welcome assistant helps you choose an app; product experts and advisors support you with setting up the app. The brand assistant answers questions from a business’s customers based on the name, character, appearance and business information specified by the business. It can point to the appropriate product, page or inquiry form. You are interacting with AI-powered features.

With these features, the messages entered, business information and the necessary conversation context may be processed. Please do not enter unnecessary personal data or special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR).

CXR App is offered and operated by Visual Memory Works GmbH (“VMW”). VMW is a controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR for the processing of its own data, for example in connection with account, billing, support and security. For data of a business’s customers that is processed via the brand assistant, the respective business is the controller; VMW acts in that respect as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The allocation of roles depends on the respective service.

Responses from artificial intelligence may contain errors. No accuracy or completeness is promised. Please review the results before making legal, business or operational decisions. As controllers, businesses are themselves responsible for the content they enter and make available via the brand assistant.

Services from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google may be used for AI features. The contracting parties, processing locations and transfer bases depend on the service actually used and the contract terms of the respective provider. The fact that the applications are to be operated on servers in Germany does not mean that all AI processing takes place in Germany; it may also take place outside Germany and outside the EU or the EEA. Any such transfer only takes place under the conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

Where necessary, the chat history is stored for a maximum of six months from the last interaction in the respective conversation and is then deleted or actually anonymized; justified requests for earlier deletion are assessed separately.

The chat history is distinguished for three purposes: (1) to provide and continue the service (for example so that a conversation stays coherent), (2) for error analysis and quality improvement, and (3) for training AI models.

On (2): Where VMW uses chat content for error analysis and quality improvement, this is not done across the board or without limit for all conversations, but only for this specific purpose, to the extent necessary for it, and on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In doing so, we first check whether the goal can also be achieved with anonymized or non-personal data; where that is possible, data is actually anonymized. Our interests are weighed against your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms. You may object to this processing under Art. 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.

On (3): We do not use personal chat content to train AI models. Should such use be considered in the future, we will inform you separately beforehand and ensure the necessary legal basis. Whether providers of AI features use inputs for their own purposes under their own terms depends on the service used and the configuration; the providers describe the details in their privacy notices.

The document “International Data Transfers” applies to transfers to third countries.

Information on credits and fees can be found in the documents “Payment and Billing Policy” and “Subscription, Renewal, Cancellation and Refund Policy”. An entitlement to credits does not mean a general consent to data processing.
